Barrister's Ball

Each fall, the Student Bar Association hosts Barrister's Ball. It is our annual fall law school formal. This is a great change to get everyone away from school and enjoy a social evening. Many students also bring their spouses or significant others, so it is a great chance to meet families also.

This year's event was hosted at the Polk County Convention Center downtown and it was very well decorated for the evening. The committee who put the event together did a great job. There was a reception before dinner, dinner and then a dance. After the event, most of us headed downtown to Court Ave. and hit different bars. It was a great night to sit on the patios downtown and relax.

It was a great evening, and I heard a lot of people remark how much fun they had. I thought this Barrister's Ball was the best yet!!
